Saving teeth

Tooth preservation is the only way to keep you natural teeth healthy and beautiful into old age. You can prevent gum disease and root infections with regular dental hygienist sessions.

Our first therapeutic goal is always to preserve what you have. Only when this is no longer possible do we apply our other areas of expertise‚ such as prosthodontics, the dental specialty that restores damage and replaces missing teeth.

To offer you the best possible outcome our dentists have an extensive depth of knowledge in their fields. We can therefore offer comprehensive dental care, from endodontics (root canal) and periodontics (gum) to professional tooth cleaning and oral surgery.

We work only with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic techniques that meet the most up-to-date scientific benchmarks, and we always take the time to give you a comprehensive and honest explanation of all aspects of your diagnosis and proposed treatment.

Root canal treatment

At our dental clinic in London we perform root canal treatments according to the guidelines of the German Society for Endodontics and the Society of Master Endodontists. The technical knowledge and expertise of our dentists is second to none.

Periodontics (gum health)

Dr Mehl has a special interest in the treatment of periodontal disease, an advanced form of gum disease. We work as gently as possible and emphasise aftercare so infection won't return.

Professional tooth cleaning

Seeing a dental hygienist is the safest and most effective way to maintain your dental health. It should therefore be done regularly — our team will take good care of you.

Dental fillings

After removing tooth decay there remains a small hole in the tooth in which bacteria can nestle. We can restore a tooth cavity like this with a composite bonding tooth filling, a ceramic inlay or, for larger defects, a partial dental crown.

Inlays, onlays & partial crowns

An inlay is a custom made filling to repair damage to the tooth’s biting surface. Onlays repair the biting surface and chewing cusps, and partial crowns restore even more of the tooth surface.

Crowns

A crown fits over the remaining part of a damaged tooth like a cap, restoring its strength and appearance.

Oral surgery

We offer a range of oral surgery treatments including wisdom tooth extraction, cyst removal and apicectomies, a minor procedure to remove the tip of a tooth root. We can always perform larger surgeries under mild anaesthesia (sedation) or general anaesthesia.
